For the month of April, we are proud to present two superb exhibitions.
The first exhibition, to be held from 4/3/07 through 4/14/07, is gKeiko Ota Solo Exhibition.h
Ms. Otafs work is filled with spiritual freedom. Its messages are gemittedh as sweet, gentle voices that resonate within our heart. At the same time, it displays the definitive presence of love for life at its core. It guides us into Ms. Otafs world that breathes quiet vitality and talks mind-soothing serenity.
Respectful of highly delicate relationship with nature that Japanese people have nurtured through the course of their history, Ms. Ota engages in creating her work freely with no apparent concern for the techniques and materials used. The work seen here titled gWind Flower,h which received Grand Prix at Cannes International Art Festival, shows snow flakes falling like dancing flower petals expressed in intertwining gold and black lines.
Ms. Otafs work brings our attention back to what we tend to neglect in the bustle of daily life | appreciation for nature and life. Devoted to love for all living things, her life is itself a deeply devoted volunteer activity.
Subtle and calm yet full of emotion and inner strength, Ms. Otafs work is a perfect way to celebrate the arrival of spring | the season of birth.
